Icons - Parametric Hub
Parametric Hub is a learning and reference platform that helps students and designers understand parametric design concepts, tools and workflows in a simpler and more visual way.
It brings together commands, operations, data types, and logic used in parametric modeling, and presents them as easy-to-navigate modules, UI elements, and visual examples.
To support this platform, I created a custom library of 100 icons that represent the core building blocks of parametric thinking. These icons cover geometry, modifiers, parameters, logic, inputs, outputs, data structures and workflow actions.
The set was built through a hybrid process.
• Manual vector crafting for icons requiring clarity and precision
• AI-assisted exploration, where I used ChatGPT prompts to Nano Banana for generative variations and complex forms
Every icon was redrawn, refined and systemized with a consistent grid, stroke, and rhythm. The outcome is a comprehensive visual system that makes parametric concepts easier to recognise, teach, and use across the entire platform.
